Classic US Military USMC ARMY NAVY DUFFEL BACKPACK LUGGAGE BAG.
This is one of the best items the US Military ever made. This is the classic bag. The newer bag has a zipper. Good luck with that lasting 100 years!
Similar to its original use in WW 1. This style bag used by every part of the US Military. This classic duffel bags have improved even more. The newer model are lined with a type of water resistant coating. I wouldn't throw them into the river, but during normal use they will usually keep your contents dry. The big improvement on today bags are the big double straps with adjustable belts on the back. They are made out of a super strong nylon. They are EXTREMELY strong and can carry a large supply of gear. Anything from cloths to tents and well beyond. Another neat feature are the four flaps that are on the top. They give the top of the bag a secure fit. You can even take them to the post office and place a name tag on them and they will be accepted as a package as long as they are not over 50 pounds. With the eye piece that goes through the reinforced holes, you can secure your bag with a regular lock. They also have a grab handle to easily store or pickup. They can easily carry over 70 pounds. The most amount that airlines (USED TO, without extra cost!)let you carry on international flights. This bag will last for years and years.
The bag that I am offering for sale is in EXCELLENT FUNCTIONAL CONDITION. There may be a name of the former owner somewhere on it, or a few light paint marks. There are no cut marks, no abuse damage.
I filled the bag up then took a tape measure to to get these sizes. It is about 30 inches tall and 47 inches round. So it can hold a lot. Its good to store old cloths in and put them up in the attic as well
