- The Backpacker 2289 fore arm design is back! Now in ready to finish AFRICAN ROSEWOOD!
- Includes the headless long grub screws to attach the for to the lever.
- Genuine unfinished rosewood for the Crosman pumpers listed!
- If you use lacquer, they look best with semi-gloss or matte finish. Tru-oil looks good, too!
- These are sanded and fit has been checked.
- TIP: When you apply the first coat of finish, make it a very light coat to raise the grain so that you can easily and quickly lightly sand any "kitty hairs" that may stand up.
- Great fitting to the frame. Use your existing hardware.
- IF YOU HAVE A NEWER P1322 OR P1377, THEN BE PREPARED TO MODIFY THAT PLASTIC BARREL BAND THAT INTERFERES WITH THIS FORE... OR SAND SOME OF THIS FORE'S FRONT FACE. AND IF NEITHER OF THOSE SCENARIOS APPEALS TO YOU, THEN DO NOT BUY THIS AT ALL!
- Note that we also ship them with the long grub screws just for the older 1322, 1377, etc.
- ALWAYS TEST FIT AND SAND AS NEEDED BEFORE APPLYING FINISH!
- FWIW we do not like the old school roll pins for attachment, but they will work (if you insist).
- No two fore arms wood grain are exactly alike due to them being REAL WOOD and with the normal natural grain variation.
- NOTE: THESE ARE NOT FOR ANY OTHER APPLICATIONS EXCEPT THE MODELS LISTED.
- If your Crosman pumper air gun is ready for a nice new fore arm, this may be the one you want.
- This fore arm is completely ready for you to install onto the lever mechanism of the Crosman pellet pistol or carbine models listed.
