Vintage External Frame Backpack Orange Mountain Products Corp Aluminum 1970's Hiking Good vintage condition, no holes, rips or tears, made by Mountain Products Corp of Wenatchee, Washington, bright orange color for high visibility. Straps can be moved up or down on the frame by moving a pin to a different hole on the frame, has some age and wear, light weight 2 zippered pouches on each side, one large main pouch with an opening on top and an opening halfway down, nice rain flap with hooks to secure down, internal metal piece to hold main pouches shape. The cord lacing on backside may not be original. Mesh panels at low back and mid back for breathability. Made of heavy-duty nylon and good zippers, all zippers open and close as they should. Overall dimensions are 34-1/2" tall by 14" wide at frame - with width of both side pockets, about 24" wide. Padded straps. See photos - you will receive this exact backpack.
