This Buy it Now auction is for some Second World War era U.S. Military issue items.  There is a M-1941 United States Marine Corps Pack System, which consists of a Combat Backpack Top, and a Cargo Attachment Bottom.  The Combat Backpack Top is Frog Skin Camouflage, and all the printed Quartermaster information has faded away.  I have seen dozens of these M-1941 USMC Backpacks, and the Frog Skin Camouflage version is very rare.  This is the only camouflage version of this backpack I have ever come across.  The Combat Backpack Top has the cloth covering over the grommet holes on the Shovel Flap.  The cloth has been ripped over the grommet holes on the Bayonet Flap.  The Shovel Flap is more in the condition like that of an unissued item would be, in since the holes have still not been ripped.  The Bayonet Flap does have the holes ripped, and this backpack was used.  The Combat Backpack Top has the top loop for the bed roll, and one separate side loop part.  It is missing one of the two side loop parts, which were not parts sewn onto the backpack.  There is a number written on the inside of the Combat Backpack Top.  The M-1941 Marine Corps Cargo Attachment is a lighter khaki color, and also had had all the printed Quartermaster information fade away.  There are soldier number markings on the backpack.  There are two Pistol Belts.  There is a M-1936 Pistol Belt that has had all the printed Quartermaster information fade away.  The M-1936 Pistol Belt has the normal webbed rows of woven canvas.  The other Pistol Belt is a M-1945 Pistol Belt, that has a different type of woven canvas without the normal webbed rows.  This type of Pistol Belt was only manufactured in 1945.  There is a M-1923 Cartridge Belt that has a "USMC" marking, and is Korean War era.  There are three M-1910 Canteens.  One Canteen is a Black Enameled Canteen that has chips, dents, and the manufacturer markings are gone.  Enameled Canteens were only manufactured in 1942.  The other M-1910 Canteen is dated 1943 and had the M-1943 Vinyl lid.  There is a third M-1910 Canteen that is dated 1945, and has a WW1 era metal lid.  There are two Canteen Cups, one is dated 1945, and the other has a rusted handle, where I can no longer read the date and manufacturer markings.  There are two Army M-1910 Canteen Covers.  One is dated 1942, and has a ripped out snap.  The other Canteen Cover has had all the printed Quartermaster markings fade away.  There is a second pattern Marine Corps Criss-Cross Canteen Cover, but the belt hooks are now missing on the back side.  I do not have the now missing belt hooks for the Marine Corps Canteen Cover, they are lost to the ages.  There is an empty Jungle First Aid Pouch, that is dated 1945, and has some numbers written on the outside.  There is an empty First Aid Pouch, that has had all the printed markings fade away, and has a replaced belt hook.  There is an empty Early WW2 style Gas Mask Bag, that has some rip damage.  There are some M-1938 Spat Leggings that are dated "12-3-44", and are size "2R".  The Spat Leggings are missing the tie core laces.  There is a M-1943 Folding Shovel that is dated 1944, in a 1945 dated Shovel Cover.  There is a M-1910 Mess Kit that is dated 1944.  I do not have any fork, knife, or spoon for the mess kit.  These items are old and in Used Condition with wear damage from having been used.  There is sun fading, dirt stains, faded markings, missing contents, missing parts, rip hole damage, moth hole damage, scratches, dents, paint loss, oxidation to the metal parts, dried out old cracked wood parts, micro-fractures, etc.  These items are no longer in the perfect condition that they once were in the day they were originally first manufactured.  These items are both damaged from having been used, and damaged from being old.  Time slowly destroys old things.  These items are way too much stuff to be able to be mailed in a Large size USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box.  These items will have to be mailed in a package around the size of 18 Inches, by 24 Inches, by 09 inches in size.  These items weigh around 15 Pounds LBS.  I show some reference book photos that have information about these old vintage Second World War era items.  The reference books are not included for sale.  Only the old damaged relic collectable WW2 era items are offered for sale.
Condition: For Legal reasons, the items in this listing are stated as "Used Condition".  What is a "Used Condition" item?  It is an item that is in "Poor Terrible Condition".  They are better condition than "Dug Relic Condition" items.  Items are no longer like how they were the day they were first manufactured.  Items have been used by someone Decades ago in another Century.  Items will have defects and damage from having been used.  The older something is, the worse the condition will be.  Wool items will have Moth holes.  Expect Moth damage to old wool items.  Expect clothing to have dirt stains, frayed cuffs and collars. Expect there to be Mildew and Mold damage stains.
Expect wrinkles.  Expect buttons to be broken or missing.  Expect zippers to be broken and non functional.  Expect size tags to be missing or damaged.  Expect leather items to be dried out and cracked.  Hats will be crushed and bent out of shape.  Do not expect clothing to fit you, it is not your size.  Expect oxidation and rust on the metal parts.  Expect items to be faded from having been exposed to sun light.  Expect metal items to have dents, scratches, and paint loss.  Expect items to have microscopic fractures when looked at under a microscope.  Expect Electronic items to no longer work or be functional.  These items are old and things slowly get destroyed by time. Please do not expect something in "New Condition", or "Good Condition". These items are in "Used Condition", and are Relics from another Century.  The vintage items I list for sale are not wearable clothing, or usable items. They are sold as old collectibles only.  If you are expecting something that is old and used to still be in nice shape, do not buy this item.  I am trying to be 100% Honest, and Accurately Describe the Crappy Condition of the Old Relics I have for sale.  If you want something that is in nice shape, than go to a store and buy something that is new.  These items are old and damaged from use.
