WWII Era USMC Marine Corps M1941 Knapsack or Lower Combat Pack - Khaki Color - Early Full Flap Version - Marked: USMC Boyt -43- NICE Condition Up for sale is a WWII Era USMC Marine Corps M1941 Knapsack or Lower Combat Pack.  This pack is used, see photo's for Condition.  Pack is soiled and has minor fading in the color.  It is Khaki in color.  A couple of small fray holes on the front and flap.  Moderate amount of color fading.  All of the straps and fasteners are still present.  This is the early version with the Full Flap and side flaps.  It is marked: USMC Boyt -43- under the flap.   These are somewhat rare and are missing from most WWII Collections. The Knapsack was designed to be worn attached to the combat Haversack Pack or alone by having the M1941 combat suspenders laced through a canvas strap stitched on the back of the pack.  Connecting the knapsack in this manner meant it could not be removed without removal and dismantling of all web gear. This would make a nice piece for all you collectors of WWII battle rifle such as the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M1903 Springfield, M1941 Johnson Rifle, M1917 Enfield Rifle, Etc.
